About CoCoBags-My Story
I began making bags in March 2015 having never made anything before! I wanted to give a friend a more 'personal' gift for her birthday and needless to say my friend was thrilled. Other people started asking me to
make bags for them and
CoCoBags
was born.
To begin with I attended small craft fairs and my first big event was Great Dorset Steam Fair in 2016. It was a massive decision for me, the costs involved and would people actually like my bags? I had an amazing reception and it was a resounding success. I will be attending GDSF again this year.
Having worked in accounting all my life it was quite a contrast to book keeping but I decided to leave my job in 2017 to concentrate on
CoCoBags
fulltime. Thankfully to wonderful customers
CoCoBags
has gone from strength to strength.
I want to create unique individual stylish bags that are different and not mass produced. I choose quality fabrics both for the exterior of the bag and the lining. To me, the lining is just as important.
